Hey guys, this week my blog's covering an old favourite of a lot of serious chilli heads, mostly as a point of comparison to better people's understanding of my scale but also because of its history. But for those of us who revel in the thrill of spicy sensations, this hot sauce is a must-have in our culinary arsenal.

Ingredients: Hot Peppers, Tomato Paste, Hot Pepper Extract, Salt, Onions, Cane Vinegar, Garlic, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, and Spices. Dave's Insanity may not have improved but Dave's Ghost Pepper is apparently the same heat with better flavour and Dave's Scorpion Sauce is all natural. Dave’s breakthrough blend of peppers and spices launched the super hot market and forever changed the face of fiery foods. This sauce brings the heat in a big way, delivering a powerful kick that lingers on your taste buds. This sauce is an additive, and a drip goes a very, very long way for anyone that isn't used to spicy heat.I have never tried a vindaloo but I like my own curries made with a couple of chillies and extra hot curry powder. The hottest I have on hand is Melinda's Naga Jolokia, which is about as hot as I want, but it's very tasty. Needless to say, I was a dumb little turd who clearly paid no damn mind to labels and dumped a generous helping (like 1/8 bottle) on a ham sandwich.

Brace yourself for a flavor experience that's not for the faint of heart, but rewards those who dare with an explosion of fiery goodness. The main two ingredients are chillies and tomato purée and Dave has even added xanthan gum to thicken it, though I suspect that was more to keep it from separating completely.I brought a bottle of this into work around 2000 sometime and shared with some of the guys who loved the heat. Dave’s Insanity is up there with the hottest natural products but uses so much extract to get there that it tastes unbearably dark and bitter.
